Gerry Phillips - the new face of Volleys
Gerry Phillip’s, manualist (hand musician), is the new face of the new Dunlop Volleys campaign.
The campaign features Gerry playing The Can Can, The Mexican Hat Dance and Pachelbel’s Canon using only his hands in a humorous portrayal of the exceptionally average for an exceptionally average shoe - the humble Dunlop Volley.
The Volleys team were very excited to work with Gerry and very pleased with that he was willing to travel all the way from Michigan to feature in the campaign.
Gerry’s talent is truly unique and exceptional. He’d listen to a new song and then 5 minutes later he was able to play it perfectly in the first take. He’s able to play practically every song with only his hands from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones to Iron Maiden.
Gerry has been playing music on his hands for the last 38 years and has a huge following on YouTube and has his own website – http://handmusician.com/
