Four years later she was promoted to Captain of the Australian Netball Team and played her 100th Test Match for Australia in June 2005.
In October 2005, Liz became the most capped Australian Netballer of all time (105). Unfortunately this game saw Liz suffer a serious knee injury that is set to keep her out of the game until May 2006. This will force Liz out of the Australian Netball Team for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, but she looks set to return to the court for the Sydney TAB Swifts in May.
